The Rhain-Main Patriots started in 1998 as Assenheim Patriots playing for the first time Inline-Hockey and had been German champion in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2008 and German cup-winner un 1999, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

The Patriots took part in FIRS-European Champions Cup in :

2003 : 4. place

2004 : 3. place

2005 : qualifying tournament

2006 : 7. place

2007 : 6. place

2009 : 8. Place

In the year 2009 the club changed the name in IVA Rhein-Main Patriots and transfered to the Skater Hockey. In the the first year champion of the regional league Südwest, in 2010 champion of 2^nd national league south, and so in 2011 in the first national league south and in the semi-final for the german championship.

In this year the Rhein-Main Patriots play with a very young team in the first national league and want to gain experience with the target for the first 10 teams in german skater-hockey. The Rhein-Main Patriots resident in their own hockey rink in the size 50m x 25m near Frankfurt/Main.

For the Rhein-Main Patriots play also 4 young teams (U10, U13, U16 and U19) in the ISHD-leagues. The young women-team plays in its second year in the first national league.
