The SHC Rockets Essen is one of the biggest Skaterhockey clubs in Europe. With nearly 300 members, seven teams of all age groups in the national leagues, and two amateur teams. We play all year in our own skater hockey hall.
The first team is an integral part of the German Bundesliga and the national cup. Each year several tournaments for men and the young are aligned. Best known is our international tournament, "Ruhr--Cup", which is held in 2012 already for 24 times.
The Rockets are very proud of their good and successful work with talented young players. Currently there are seven players in the senior team, which won the 2009 U19 European Cup. For many years we keep players for the national teams of men and juniors.
